If you have Cisco routers and switches you want to sell, make a note of any interface modules or installed options, as they add additional value.
Step 2 – Buyer Agent Review Next, your product submission is reviewed by a CiscoBuy.com buyer agent. In some cases, we may need further clarification on model numbers and quantities. Your buyer agent will contact you via phone or email to review your submission. Once we have an accurate account of your Cisco inventory, and the time frame for sale, we’ll begin the process of putting together a purchase offer.
Step 3 – Purchase Offer If your equipment is deemed to have current market value, CiscoBuy.com will provide you with a purchase quote/offer for your review and acceptance. Purchase offers are generally valid for 7 days. You can review the purchase offer with your buyer agent and we will answer any questions or concerns you may have. Payment terms, unless otherwise negotiated, are typically Net 10 Days, to allow for your equipment to be properly received, inventoried and tested.
Step 4 – Bid Review/Acceptance Once you have reviewed the bid responses with your CiscoBuy.com buyer agent, it’s up to you to accept or reject our purchase offer. If you choose to move forward, CiscoBuy.com will formalize your purchase offer into a purchase order. We provide best-practices documentation for prepping and packaging your valuable Cisco equipment, and we can assist you with deinstallation, packaging materials and logistics, as needed.
Step 5 – Prep and Ship Your CiscoBuy.com agent can provide you with prepaid Fedex shipping labels once your equipment is prepped and boxed for shipment, all we need is the weight and dimension of the box(es). We can also arrange for Fedex pickup of your inventory if there is not a convenient Fedex depot nearby. For larger shipments, we also maintain partnerships with a variety of freight carriers.
